When you receive the message "Forum Account Approved," please log in and edit your profile.
Even though you are approved, you will not be able to participate until you have been assigned to your committee member group. The absolute minimum information needed for the Admin to assign you to your committee is the County. It would also be helpful to other members to complete the "City/Town/Place" information. If you're not in California, include the state code for the City/Town/Place, e.g., "NV" for Nevada.
When you are assigned to your committee member group, the Admin will message you. At that point you can make and reply to posts in your group and do all the other things that committee members can do on this forum.
